Luxury Family Home, Pattanakarn — Bespoke Hardware Story
This private residence in the Pattanakarn area was designed as a warm, long-term family home, where luxury is expressed quietly through materials, proportion, and daily usability.
Before Closet was invited to develop and curate custom hardware across wardrobes, drawers, and main doors — with special attention to child-friendly details, natural wood tones, and a soft tactile experience. Cloud-shaped wooden knobs were introduced in select wardrobe areas to create a gentle, playful presence without compromising the overall refined interior language.
In more functional zones, minimal round knobs and knurled long handles were selected to support ergonomic use, especially for tall doors and frequently accessed storage. Matte black finishes were used sparingly to add contrast and durability, while still blending naturally with warm wood surfaces.
Rather than treating hardware as decoration, every piece was positioned and scaled to support real family life — calm, safe, and intuitive to use — allowing the home to feel timeless as the family grows.
This project reflects our approach to bespoke hardware: quiet design decisions that improve how a home feels, every single day.

Q: What is the best hardware finish for dark wood cabinets? A: For this project, we used Custom Dark Bronze. It provides a sophisticated, monochromatic look that is superior to standard matte black. It adds depth and richness suitable for ultra-luxury properties like those on Wireless Road and One Bangkok.
